Philip Plath is a lawyer and defense lawyer at GERMELA Wülfing LLP and advises German companies on all matters relating to compliance. He also advises entrepreneurs and individuals on commercial criminal law, medical law, medical criminal law, and general criminal law. He is a registered lawyer at all German district courts, regional courts, higher regional courts and the Federal Court of Criminal Matters.
After the first state examination, Mr. Plath put his focus on the criminal law advice within the scope of his work for a renowned Hamburg criminal law office. In addition, Mr. Plath worked for several months in a Prosecutor General’s Office. Among other things, he has worked in the Departments of Economic Criminal Matters and the Central Office for Organized Crime and Corruption. As a result, Mr Plath draws on extensive knowledge in criminal and criminal procedure law and in dealing with courts and prosecutors.
In addition, he advises on foreign trade compliance and also supports market entry into the markets of the Near and Middle East and the North African countries, Russia and China.
