Before his traineeship in Hamburg and Boston, USA, he worked in a couple of international law firms in Hamburg and Marbella, Spain.
Erik Ahrens is a lawyer at Germele Law and specializes in advising internationally active companies in Commercial and Corporate Law as well as Foreign Trade Law. A particular focus of his practice is advising companies on entering foreign markets, primarily in relation to the markets of Asia and those of the Near and Middle East. Mr. Ahrens continues to be head of the Asian desk at Germela Law.
Philip Plath is a lawyer with the focus on commercial criminal law. After the first state examination, Mr. Plath put his focus on the criminal law advice within the scope of his work for a renowned Hamburg criminal law office. In addition, Mr. Plath worked for several months in a Prosecutor General’s Office. Among others, he has worked in the Departments of Economic Criminal Matters and the Central Office for Organized Crime and Corruption. He is a registered lawyer at all German district courts, regional courts and higher regional courts.
